Is this ad implying that the view of our HDB blocks is boring?

STOMPer Li Shuang wonders if this advertisement he saw on the train was trying to imply that the view of HDB blocks in Singapore is boring.

Li Shuang said:

"I encountered this advertisement on the North-South line MRT going towards Woodlands on 28th of August.

"The advertisement stated 'Would you rather have this view, or a breathtaking seaview?'

"When I looked outside, it is our typical HDB block.

"Are they trying to say that our HDB is boring and ugly?

"They should reconsider the words they use to avoid annoying people because I know I am."
