Shortly after STOMPer Giles misplaced his iPhone at a fast food outlet, he started receiving these pictures of the person who picked it up, thanks to an app he had installed on it.
This is not the first time a person's likeness had been captured using the app. Another STOMPer also found out what the person who chose to keep his phone looked like.
The STOMPer wrote:
"I misplaced my iPhone 4 32GB black when having lunch at Keypoint KFC at around 3.20pm yesterday (Aug 28).
"I found out within 5-10 minutes and tried calling my phone however it was switched off.
"I had installed an application which captures photos of any person who keys in the wrong passcode.
"A warning message will also ask the person who keyed in the wrong passcode to contact me.
"One of the photos was captured at around 3.28pm, immediately after I realized I had lost my phone.
"He has been trying to unlock my phone since yesterday.
"I have since made a police report and hope that I can get my iPhone back!"
