When RazorTV recently interviewed people to find out if it was ok for men to wear mini shorts, most Singaporeans who replied felt that it was inappropriate.
Celebrities Ed Westwick, Christiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand and and John Mayer have recently been sported in mini-shorts, adding to this growing trend.
Model Lawrence Sun, who donned mini shorts for the interview, walked down Orchard Road to see how members of the public react to his outfit.
And of those who replied during the interview, most said that it was not appropriate for men to wear mini-shorts.
A majority of the women interviewed felt that their male spouses should not wear shorts which are too short or too tight, or both.
And most guys felt that girls could pull off the short shorts look, but that men should not attempt it.

No. Short shorts are for straight men who work out and take pride in their health and appearance. Short shorts give a sense of strength and power on a man, and a REAL man wears short shorts with a tank top, all the better to show off his bulging muscles. A man who is too afraid to wear short shorts or who thinks men shouldn't wear them is a wussy who'se afraid of radical feminists.
