A spokesperson for StarHub said that the early termination fee for the Euro 2012 pay-per-view pack which some customers were billed for was the result of an isolated technical glitch which was since rectified.
STOMPer Michael was on such customer, and made a post about the extra charge after receiving the bill.
The spokesperson said:
"We refer to the post from STOMPer Michael on the early termination fee for our EURO2012 Pack.
"Due to an isolated technical glitch in our billing system, a small number of customers were incorrectly charged an early termination fee for the EURO2012 Pack.
"The glitch has since been resolved and the fee will be credited back to customers in their next bill.
"We have also contacted the STOMPer and other affected customers to notify them of this error and to ignore the fee.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
