How do you know a stall serves good food? A queue is a good sign, proving people are willing to wait for the food. Even better -- the queue includes people from all races and walks of life.

'Suddenly it dawned upon me of what my late friend told me about choosing the best stall in a food court.
"According to my friend, if you are uncertain which stall is the best, join the longest queue and most of the time you will be able to savour good food.
"I thought about his 'food theory' and gave it a try.
"After much deliberation I decided to queue up at the Teochew fish porridge stall which had the longest queue.
"I saw locals, Filipino maids and even 'ang mohs' sitting at several tables, all eating fish porridge.
"After trying their fish porridge and 'otah' I realized that this is one of the best stall in the food centre."
