Nightmare landlord calls tenant's gf a thief and tries to bash down door in drunken rage

S shares an account of a landlord from hell who often gets drunk and aggressive, accusing the STOMPer's girlfriend of stealing money, a work pass and even a few decorative stones. He even tried to break down a door in a drunken rage at one point.

The STOMPer wrote:

"I have been living in a rented home at Bedok Reservoir Road's Block 604 for 16 months.

"This is not the first time the landlord got drunk and crazy.

"As stated clearly in our contract, if either party were to terminate the contract before 18 months, he must pay up till 18 months but he refused to.

"On Aug 19 at 10.30pm, he accused my girlfriend of stealing his money which is $150 or $200 which he failed to say clearly, the house phone, his work pass and a few stones!

"This is totally ridiculous.

"If we can afford to spend $30,000 a year to study oversease, would we steal your stones?

"He is a frequent drinker and often gets drunk with bottles of beer and hard liqour. He cannot control his temper when he is drunk.

"When I asked him to write down on paper the things he claimed went missing, he refused to and ask me to get lost from there.

"As the photo shows, the door had become cracked because of his punches and kicks when I refused to open the door later.

"When I finally did, he came right in front of my face and shouted at me.

"Just to warn those who want to rent room around this area, he looks perfectly normal when he is not drunk. Before I moved in, a few people who had rented the other room also left."

Pay him the compensation. Leave. You are paying rental and do not deserve treatment like that.

@dylanahpoh: I'm moving out in a few days time. I do not want to stay in this place any longer. I felt disgusted when the wife ask me 'boy, actually why do you want to move out?'

Launch a police report at the time of his drunken stupor, with that and witness by the police, the termination of contract will be valid.
