A STOMPer said a lorry driver had crashed into cars at Choa Chu Kang Stadium at about 9pm yesterday (Aug 14).
The cars were left badly mangled.
Said the STOMPer:
"I was on my way to Choa Chu Kang Sports Hall for badminton on at 9pm yesterday when I noticed something strange.
"The carpark ERP entrance computerised box and entrance barrier seemed to have been knocked down.
"Upon entering the carpark, I saw the damage a lorry had done.
"The height barricade was hanging. It was to prevent tall vehicles from entering and apparently, the lorry had smashed through it before colliding with the cars.
"The driver, a local, was attended to by the medical crew.
"The TP then arrived and one by one, and the owners started appearing.
"One of them (blue toyota) was a resident nearby and was shocked by the damage.
"The driver of the lorry was not allowed to drive his vehicle away and had to call some one to come down to drive it.
"He took a breathalyser test and passed.
"After the commotion, I left without playing my badminton game!"
