Are Singaporean women so concerned about maintaining their figures that they choose not to have babies? A recent RazorTV report shows the views of some local women on this topic.
The report itself highlights how a previous post by STOMPer TrueSingaporean highlighted that younger Singaporeans should change their mindset and have more kids.
STOMPer Priplanning made a comment on that article, saying that 'Singaporean women care more about the shape of their bodies', and that they 'want a condo, a car, a maid and LV bags'.
The comment also stated that women wanted to enjoy themselves when they are young and choose to get married when they are old.
Razor TV interviewed both women and men about this view.
One woman who was interviewed stated that although maintaining their figure was a concern, if the woman truly loved her husband and maintained a healthy lifestyle, then they would be able to overcome such obstacles.
Another woman said that not just women, but also men choose to get enjoy themselves at a younger age and then settle down much later in life.
Of the men interviewed, most agreed that while they felt the comments had some truth to them, they would apply to all young Singaporeans.
