An FHM cover girl was arrested in the early hours of last Tuesday after police officers searched the car she was in at Dakota Crescent and found drugs inside.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, 22-year-old Celestina Tiew tested positive for drugs in a urine test after she was arrested. Celestina claims however, that the Wanbao report was inaccurate and that she had no idea there were drugs in the car.
Miss Tiew says the car, a BMW, was driven by a male friend. When asked about the arrest, Miss Tiew said that she 'regretted it' and that she was still waiting for the results of the urine test. Miss Tiew won the FHM Girl Next Door contest in 2009.
When contacted by TNP, the Central Narcotics Bureau confirmed that the police arrested three suspects for suspected drug-related activities in Dakota Crescent. One man has been released unconditionally. Investigations into the other two suspects are ongoing, CNB said.
