Scotland flag hung at condo in Pasir Ris

STOMPer Bibo noticed that a Scotland flag has been hung at a condominium unit in Pasir Ris, Elias Road for the past two days.

Said the STOMPer:

"I saw this at the Ris Grandeur condominium, at Pasir Ris, near Elias Road.

"This flag has been there for at least two days.

"Why they hang their country's flag in our country?"

This is not the first instance of another nation's flag being hung at a home in Singapore.

Previously, STOMPer Kalze noticed this Spanish flag hanging from a balcony at a condominium along Bukit Timah Road.

And a 54-year-old Singaporean woman is being investigated by the police over a China flag that was hung over the parapet of a Hougang block last Saturday.

Just like the PRC flag, this is also a non-issue. Having other nation's flag in Singapore shows that Singapore is a progressive nation and is well received by other nations who like to come to work/invest in Singapore.

Its only the haters, xenophobics and racists who make a big deal out of this non-issue, especially towards CHina. These mindless sods are still trapped in the stone age in today's modern Singapore.

i think as the govt is welcoming more and more foreigners into this country they have to allow them some liberty to do such things. we cant say no to this. they may be in our country for some reason or others and they are still proud of their individual citizenship. I dont think anything is wrong with that.
