These S'pore families bond by going for plastic surgery in South Korea...together

How do you bond with your loved ones? Well for these Singaporean families, an activity that has brought them closer together is by going under the knife in South Korea -- together.

Make-up artist Veronica Ng, 22, was the first to head to Seoul for a nose job and an eyelid procedure in September 2011. Shortly after that, her mother, Mary, 57, liked the results on her daughter so she went for a procedure in February while Veronica's older sister, Elizabeth, 27, went for plastic surgery in June this year.

Veronica said she wanted to mark her 21st birthday with a fresh start, and she picked South Korea over Thailand because "everyone has heard of the (South Korean) surgeons' skills".

Another family has also gone under the knife. Mr Teoh, his wife and his three daughters went to Seoul in January for a 12-day trip and they had their procedures done at the same time. It is meaningful to him as they "have finally found something (they) enjoy doing as a family".

I dont know why STOMP is publishing Plastic Surgery Articles like this ...while yes its news but its also glamourising the idea of Plastic Surgery. There is a huge percentage of gals as young as 11 starving themselves to look beautiful ...now this? Arent you indirectly encouraging this young gals to destroy their life and future by posting these sort of articles?

If you have the money, go for it but don't boast about it in Stomp. Not everybody share your vanity ideas.

Waste of money.. Should just do some good deeds and donate to some family that can put the money to good use.. So what you look good, it is not you.. It is all the plastic...
