Your flag is your cuisine

Ever wondered what it'd be like if a flag was replaced with food? Check out the gallery!

The flag of Italy is replaced with basil, pasta and tomatoes while the flag of Japan is replaced with sashimi and rice.

So which local delight would be fitting enough to replace the colours of our Singapore flag?

This article was contributed by the STOMP Team.

Pictures 1 to 6 show cuisines representing the colours of the flags.

The other pictures show what other people around the world eat.

Rice with red chilli make good colors for Singapore flag. All ethnic groups have rice and spices in their meals. So isn't it appropriate to use them as representations?
