STOMPer Chow Koon was irked when this man blocked the entrance to the carpark at Anchorvale CC claiming he was reserving the lots for 'VIPs', and told drivers to park at the nearest HDB block, roughly 1km away.
Wrote the STOMPer:
This guy was standing in front put a 'Carpark Full' sign to block the entrance of the sheltered carpark at Anchorvale Community Centre on the morning of July 14.
"There were 3 empty lots available, but when questioned, the man claimed he was reserving the lots for 'VIPs'.
"Many cars, including mine, could not park there but this guy says many drivers do not have problem with it .
"'You can park your car at the HDB blocks nearby', he said.
"Mind you, the nearest HDB carpark is about 1km away!! Another question - why can't he put a 'Reserved for VIP' sign instead of 'Carpark Full'??"
