A 17-year-old student was fined $3,000 on Thursday for using another person's identity card at St James Power Station.
A Community Court had called for a probation report on Liu Yifan in view of her age, but she did not want probation.
Liu, who pleaded guilty last month, asked the court to give her a chance.
Yet when the court asked if she wanted to consider talking to the probation officer, she said she did not want to.
The court heard that she wanted to go clubbing but was not old enough. The minimum age for entry to the club is 18 years old.
She told her classmate, aged 19, of her intention to go clubbing. The classmate managed to get hold of her former schoolmate's identity card for Liu to use.
On March 23, Liu was with her boyfriend at St James Power Station at Sentosa Gateway when she was stopped by a security officer before she could get in.
She could have been fined up to $10,000 and/or jailed for up to 10 years.
