Heed this STOMPer's advice on how to stay safe when travelling to JB
Following the recent spate of attacks in Johor Baru, a STOMPer offers advice to Singaporeans on how to stay safe when visiting Malaysia.
The STOMPer said:
" Upon reading the recent news about the violence in JB, I would like to caution Singaporeans who are travelling to our neighbouring country.
"We need to be always alert.
"Also, do not bring large amounts of cash or flaunt jewellery.
"Do not spend lavishly.
"Try to stay around in the shopping centre area.
"Do not walk away from crowds.
"Do not trust any passer-by.
"Hope this small piece of information can raise the awareness for all local travellers."

Happy to read the good advice until you the victim. Robbers break into the Jb hse in the wee hrs and grab the car keys and drive away your car. Scared everyone. Happened in 2012 Hari Raya holidays. Always follow the good advices still. But not going JB is still the best option. Once bitten twice shy.
