Is this legal? Rental copies of movies put up for sale at store
STOMPer KB noticed that a shop that sold movie DVDs and CDs had rental copies of movies on sale during its promotion period.
Said the STOMPer:
""I saw a movie disk on promotional sale that was marked as a rental copy, and I looked at the back.
"'For rental only, not for sale.' was written on the back.
"Later I found that all the TVB titles the shop was SELLING were all rental copies!
"All the other videos there were not rental copies, only their TVB titles."
"I read from a source that selling rental copies of videos instead of putting them out for rental is similar to selling OEM copies of computer software separately, as opposed to being distributed in the box with a new computer."
"The promotion was at a store in Compass Point."

Please note if they've the censor board sticker, they're legal. Not that one shop you saw, many shops are doing that.
