STOMPers Kangrash and Justpassby saw a car engulfed in flames just this morning (July 5) at around 2am, on the Pan Island Expressway at Adam Road.
Kangrash said:
"A car caught fire on the PIE at Adams Road at 2.30am.
"While travelling back home on the PIE, I saw that a car caught fire.
"Couldn't exactly see the vehicle as the flames were huge."
Justpassby said:
"I was on the way home when I saw this accident.
"It was on the PIE towards Woodlands at 2am on the 5th of July.
"The car was in flames."
A spokesperson from the SCDF said:
"The SCDF received a call at 2.06am about a vehicle on fire.
"SCDF dispatched one fire engine, one red rhino and one ambulance to the scene.
"SCDF managed to put out the fire with one jet and one hosereel.
"No one was injured in this incident."
A police spokesperson said:
"Police received a call today at about 2.05am, informing us of a traffic accident involving a car along the PIE towards Jurong before the Eng Neo exit.
"Police says investigations are ongoing."
Many Singaporeans know how to drive car, but know nothing about cars, this is what happen when they are so ignorant. Will be a good idea to make every new/old driver take AA car maintenance course. At least they know a bit more of car mechanical.
