Kudos to off-duty SCDF personnel for helping woman who fainted

STOMPer Hakim praises this off-duty SCDF personnel for going to the aid of a woman who had fainted outside the Starbucks at Bukit Panjang Plaza.

Wrote the STOMPer:

"Off-duty SCDF personnel to the rescue!

"A member of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) went to the rescue of a civilian who fainted outside a common gathering ground of teenagers.

"This brave and selfless person reacted as quick as lighting to aid the female civilian who fainted all of a sudden in front of Starbucks at Bukit Panjang Plaza.

"Whoever said that chivalry is dead amongst Singaporeans."

By informing someone that you're from SCDF will only allow the public to perceive that he is either a fire fighter, a medic, paramedic or an admin/logistic personnel. So, which role would actually help the lady? Interesting.

Don't dumb leh! I already said that the first thing he did was inform the woman that he is from SCDF. And of course you don't see anything that points out that he is from SCDF. YOU WERE NOT THERE YOU FOOL!

Lol. It was because while on scene, the first and foremost thing he did was to justify that he knows what he was doing and that he was from SCDF.

Brave and selfless? Chivalry? Come on. 1. The lady didn't have to be rescued from a burning building. 2. This is decency.
Something sorely lacking in our Society these days. Hats off to SCDF all the same.
