Miss Sun, 37, had undergone four double eyelid surgeries but was still not satisfied. She then visited a prominent plastic surgeon and paid $16,000 but found her eyes uneven. She was also called 'goggle eyes' by people.
Miss Sun's friends poke fun at her as sometimes her eyes will protrude out naturally and make her look like a 'goldfish' which scares others. She is also called 'goggle eyes' as a result.
The doctor is only willing to refund $6,400 to Miss Sun, who is a Singapore permanent resident who is originally from China.
Miss Sun had undergone four double eyelid surgeries prior from 1992 to 2010 as she felt her natural eyelids are not beautiful.
Still finding certain flaws with her eyelids, she then had a fifth surgery in April by a prominent plastic surgeon here and paid $16,000.
Before the stitches were due to be removed, Miss Sun discovered the surgery appeared to have gone wrong as her eyes looked uneven and the widths of her double eyelids were different.
However the doctor then suggested physical therapy as it would take time for the wound to recover.
Miss Sun was also driven away by security when she went to wait at the clinic for the doctor. She had arrived 10 minutes past their scheduled appointment time at 8am and he was busy. The police were also called regarding the matter.
