Whatever form of transport you take, trouble seems to find you

This poster, which has been circulating online, parodies the various incidents that have happened on the public transport in Singapore.

These incidents include the death of a cyclist after being rolled over by a car along Lower Delta Road, a road accident involving a Ferrari, a taxi and a motorcycle at Rochor Road, a 25-year-old who had shoved an old woman off a bus, and finally, a quarrel between a girl and an aunty over the Priority Seat.

Said STOMPer James:

"I saw this poster online, quite funny.

STOMPer micado who also came across the poster said:

"Wah, seems like nowhere is safe!

"Whatever's happening to our trusty transport system?

"All these bad-tempered individuals and unsafe drivers are ruining it for us."

@berddy632, you got an idea too but people will tend to gain the benifit by selling off like bids for money just like selling of HDB flat for electronic card. idea is good but not good enough

May I proposed the reserve seats to be locked. If we really want to help the needy commuters, do not put them on the grey margin line.. A qualified needy pax must use an electronic card to slot in to unlock the seat. When the seat is not in use, it will auto folded up and locked. This gives space to standing commuters.

A qualified needy pax who has medical support document or has a few days mc due to leg injury must testify by doctor. This application will then be approved and a permenantly or temporary electronic pass be issued by MRT accordingly. A needy pax can be young or old. Some might be suffering from cancer, arthritis, leg bone fracture, etc. Imagine if you are a young commuter and has a leg medical problem. You managed to sit on reserve seat. But then so happen an old pax standing infront of you. Embarrass? So how to be sure who is more needy? Hope this small measure of proposal can be used as a feedback.
