STOMPer Dave wondered if the two deaths that occurred at Marina Bay Sands this month were related to gambling losses.
The STOMPer raised this concern after a second body was found there last night (June 20).
The body, found near the foot of one of the three towers at Marina Bay Sands, is believed to be that of a 33-year-old Indonesian man.
Discovered at about 9pm in the outdoor area of a restaurant in the integrated resort , he is believed to have fallen from as high as the 52nd storey of MBS tower two.
The body of a German man was found on a grass verge along the East Coast Parkway on June 12, near the foot of one of the three towers of MBS.
The 46-year-old man is believed to have fallen from the SkyPark, located on the 56th floor of the resort.
An MBS spokesman said the German man was not a hotel guest, but had paid for access to the SkyPark, whose observation deck is open to the public.
The police are investigating both cases.
Said the STOMPer:
"It is sad that a second person was found dead.
"But one has to wonder if it is coincidence that two deaths have occurred within a short period of time, or if both deaths are related to gambling losses.
"I guess the police need to investigate to find out the cause for both deaths."
