Is learning Chinese tough? This online language school uses a 'revolutionary' method -- getting beautiful women to teach Mandarin.
The online school, aptly named SexyMandarin, has released nine videos of Mandarin lessons to date. These videos are available for free online.
Kaoru Kikuchi, an architecture graduate from the University of Nottingham, founded the school in December 2011. The Japanese-born model and designer aims to make Mandarin more accessible to the masses.
SexyMandarin is part of the rising trend of businesses adopting the controversial method of employing attractive women to entice potential customers.
Said STOMPer Babybreath:
"My Mandarin is horrible!
"This is an interesting way for people like me to brush up on their Chinese.
"But I think the women will be too distracting.
"Students will be unable to concentrate.
"People who sign up for the course will be more interested in the women than their education.
"This is good for promotional efforts, but I doubt it contributes much to its teaching effectiveness.
"There's a rising trend in businesses using attractive women to bring in customers."
