STOMPer december-wind spotted a woman wrapped in a bath towel at Suntec last Saturday (June 9). According to the STOMPer, policemen were following her but did not approach her.
Said the STOMPer:
"After dinner last Saturday, my family and I were on our way to Esplanade MRT around 10pm when my brother saw this lady coming down from the Suntec escalators.
"Her hair was wet, she was barefooted and wrapped in a huge towel.
"Her arms were crossed and she was holding on tightly to the towel as if she were afraid it would drop.
"My brother pointed her out to us and we wanted to follow her but saw five policemen doing so.
"We thought that they would stop her but to our surprise, we saw them giggling and talking into their walkie-talkies.
"The lady wrapped in bath towel did not have an EZlink card but managed to slip through the gate by running after a commuter who was about to enter.
"Down at the train platform, another two policemen followed the lady as they giggled.
"They did not approach her either.
"When the train towards Dhoby Ghaut arrived, the lady got on and left."
