Car overturns after hitting lamppost at Joo Chiat

STOMPer Brad saw this car which had overturned after hitting a lamppost at Tembeling Road in Joo Chiat yesterday (June 14).

Brad said:

"This happened yesterday around 9pm.

"Car speeding down Tembeling Rd which is a narrow lane, hits a light pole and lands on its roof."


In response to a STOMP query, police said:

"Police received a call on 14 June 2012 at about 10pm informing us of a traffic accident along Tembeling Rd involving a car.

"The driver of the car was arrested in relation to the incident.

Police investigations are ongoing."

Driver on Death Race List. You might be a pro driver but on public road not all are pro so been given a second chance please think thrice.

Speeding at Tembeling road is ridiculous. Narrow. Dark. Lots of maids, pub patrons, residents walk by the side of the road. several sections do not have real sidewalk.
Probably drunk driving.
