If you spot someone walking around with holes in their clothes, chances are they are not victims of scissors gone wild. Instead, they sport 'cutout' fashion, where holes are deliberately cut into clothes to make them sexier as a fashion statement.
RazorTV's Fashion Mata-Mata spoke to girls on the street about their views on the fashion trend, and the girls also showed how they carried the cutouts well. One even dished out advice on how and how not to wear cutouts, while everyone RazorTV spoke to concurred that the more revealing 'cutout' fashion was only appropriate for clubbing and not for work.
STOMPer Doily commented:
"I like to wear cutout fashion, but like at the shoulders or on the sleeves or at the hem of a dress.
"Nothing too revealing...yet.
"For one, if you want to show off your back, you must ensure you give it a good scrubbing, you don't have back fat that will protrude out and that your bra won't peek out in an unsightly manner.
"I think in general, cutout fashion is a creative way of enhancing clothes but still staying minimalist and simple.
"It can really turn a plain black dress into something so much sexier.
"Of course, for the more revealing ones, you really need a good body to show it off."
