STOMPer Yap was disgusted when she found worms in the oyster dish that she ordered at a restaurant in a local hotel. The incident occurred at 9pm on June 7.
Said the STOMPer:
"These extremely disgusting worms were found in the oysters we had ordered at a restaurant in a local hotel.
"The incident was reported to the manager who was on duty.
"The best part was that he was unapologetic throughout the whole process and he was just smiling like it was a very funny joke.
"It was as if hygiene wasn't their main concern.
"Hen also said that he was going to call the police just because we the four of us could not accept his one for one offer.
"Why did we have to pay when we weren't even halfway through our dinner?
"So we told him to call the police, and we waited there.
"After a very long period of time, there was no response from him.
"So we asked him about it, and he said that they had decided not to call the police.
"And he did not even bother to tell us about that.
"So eventually, we informed the hotel manger, who pacified us and informed higher management about it.
"Today (June 8) morning, the chief chef of the restaurant called to apologise about the whole incident."
