Singapore hyways has become hellways for many motorcyclists, travelling gaps are smaller and lanes are getting narrower. The hyways are only friendly to 4 wheelers and more. Motorcyclist should avoid hyways and use smaller roads to keep themselve alive.

Bikers, be careful on the road. Take care your own lives. Don't expect everybody else to take care of your lives when you yourselves don't.
Stay in the left lane, don't zigzag in and out the lane and between the cars, don't ride too fast (although expressway seed limit is 80-90km/h, don't ride at that speed. Motorbikes are not cars, less stable and the only protection you have is helmet which is quite fragile.

lousy road system ? i think accidents r mainly due to lousy n irresponsible drivers. also more taxi drivers = more accidents
