Believe it or not, this wedding photoshoot is done with an iPhone

Wedding photographer Kenny Kim experimented with a fresh idea during his recent photoshoot -- he shot an entire wedding with an iPhone4.

Kenny's inspiration derived from curiosity at first. Whenever he shared his iPhone photos with the people around him, he was always asked the same question. "Did you really take that with your iPhone?"

This led him to think that one day, he could shoot an entire wedding using this device. To him, it was more of an experiment to see how far he has come, and how much more progress is needed.

Kenny used apps such as Camera+, ProHDR and Panoramatic to capture the images. He planned to use SnapSeed to edit the photos but realized it was too time-consuming. In the end, he processed the shots with Adobe Photoshop.

Challenges he faced included finding a good source of light and the slow shutter speed of the device, causing some images to appear blur or soft.

Kenny received positive feedback on the photos he took and he explained that most people were open to and loved the idea.

"I saw his photos and I think they are great!

"Personally I don't think there is a difference between a photo taken with a camera and a photo taken with an iPhone nowadays.

"There are so many editing and camera apps available on the app store.

"Now everyone can take a beautiful picture without having to worry about purchasing expensive camera gear."

Images 1 to 22 are taken with an iPhone by Kenny Kim. The rest of the gallery shows unusual and creative wedding photos.

There are tell-tale signs that some if not most of the photos shown aren't taken with an iPhone camera, how can i tell? focal length, angle of view depth of field that reveals a 6-9 bladed diaphragm.

bro edmund,

wedding its serious one leh , thats why the idea very crazy use iphone for weeding

i think the photographer do it for free ..:)

scenery? how wide the normal cam able to capture the view? ..:) if zoom, obviously but wide angle normal cam not really good. so if you shoot scenery with normal cam, people will smile at you .

it really depends on what you need bro. its hobby i believe, like if you play soccer why use nike or adidas, you are not a pro but why people buy nike / adidas ?..:)

This is what happens when people boh lui or are just stingy in spending. Get a proper photographer with a DSLR because an Iporn is never meant for serious photography.

Is meant for those serious people who want take a close shot at that thing with great detail, and for those who want zoom till cannot zoom type of ppl. So just normal photos, secenary or whatever, just use a normal cam lah. Wah lao eh, why post this... don't let too many know the secret leh, let them keep using dslr and i smile at them hahahaha
