The transgender model who was initially disqualified, has failed to enter the final five in Canada's Miss Universe pageant.
Although Jenna Talackova, 23, did not emerge the winner, she garnered most of the attention and attracted the loudest cheers with her on-stage appearances.
The first-ever transgender contestant to compete in the Miss Universe Canada pageant, Talackova was previously disqualified from the contest because of her sex change.
Despite being born with male genitals, Talackova said in a 2010 interview that she knew she was a woman from a young age, began hormone therapy at 14 and had surgery to change her gender when she was 19.
Talackova was later reinstated in the pageant, due to a sudden decision by the organisers.
More than 28,000 fans from Vancouver had signed an online petition demanding her reinstatement.
Said STOMPer TSRex:
"Looks like she got her chance but didn't cut it.
"But I must commend her for being courageous and self-confident enough to join the contest, even if she didn't win.
"At least it was a fair contest!"
