The town of Anand in India is famous for its surrogate mothers. Childless couples from around the world travel there to pay women for their labour -- literally.

"This is legal in India and the town of Anand has 300 mothers who are willing to rent out their womb.
"The surrogates are paid about $10,000 and a monthly stipend.
"This is a win-win situation as the childless couple become proud parents albeit in a quiet unobtrusive way.
"The poor Indian mother gets paid for her labour."
