The Ferrari 599 GTO involved in the Rochor accident that claimed the lives of three recently is reputed to be one of the fastest cars ever made. STOMPer Highlighter thinks it is sad that this supercar was involved in the fatal crash.
The Ferrari 599 GTO can accelerate from 0kmh to 100kmh in a mere 3.35 seconds, reaching a top speed of 335kmh.
It costs approximately $1.3 million with a Gran Turismo Evoluzione package. Its six-litre V12 engine provides 670bhp, and it has achieved a record lap time of 1min 24sec at Ferrari's test track.
Said STOMPer Hightlighter:

"I can't believe this accident turned talk of the 599 GTO from an ingenious engineering feat into a death machine.
"The onus of the car's handling is on the driver, not the people who designed it.
"It's sad how it all turned out this way."
