STOMPer Salbia, CK and Danish Flamethrower spotted a monkey at the market at Jurong West Street 41. CK was concerned that the monkey might be carrying a disease, and that it would harm children.
Salbia said:
"We saw this monkey at Jurong West Street 41 market.
"My son got excited when he saw the monkey."
Danish Flamethrower said:
"I was walking home after breakfast and then I saw a monkey jumping over to a shelter bar rod somewhere over some shops.
"I quickly took a photo of it.
"Many people gave food to it and there was this one aunty throwing a lychee towards it, until she fell down due to the slippery and wet market floor.
"I do not know where this monkey came from but I think it was from Bukit Timah."
CK said:
"I reported this to the Police but was told to call Town Council.
"I called Town Council, but no action has been taken till now.
"Does this monkey have any diseases?
"What if it starts attacking children?"
