Uprooted trees wreak mayhem: One car ends up on grass verge, another badly crushed

The heavy storm yesterday (May 6) has caused many trees to topple over. One car got badly crushed by a tree while another car even had to swerve to avoid a tree crashing straight into its path.

STOMPer Jing Yi said:

"Heavy rain that occurred this afternoon around 1pm at Serangoon at the back gate of Bowen Secondary School

"The storm was so heavy that the tree was uprooted and fell onto the road

"I believe the black BMV swerved to avoid being hit by the tree and that's why it ended up on the grass verge

"Really close shave... "

STOMPer Kheng Soong added:

"Poor GTI and Mitsubishi...

"I hope nobody got hurt."
