Dangerous ride: Couple on bike have child without helmet wedged between them

STOMPer Leng Kern was concerned at the sight of this couple riding on a motorcycle with a child wedged between them. To make matters worse, the child was not wearing a helmet.

Wrote the STOMPer:

"This couple was spotted travelling along Woodlands Avenue 5 turning into Woodlands Avenue 2 at about 7pm on Saturday (May 5).

"When I looked closer, I notice there were 3 person on this motorcycle. There was a little child in between them, and this child was not wearing a helmet.

"It is common to see this in Malaysia, but not in Singapore! The motorcyclist is endangering the lives of the pillion rider and the child.

"If an accident were to happen, imagine the consequences. I hope the authorities look into this, not sure whether they travel all the time like this on our roads."

The couple and their kid's body are made of shape memory alloy. The parents are damned confident that they will survive intact even if they are flatten by flat bed or container trucks.

What is the use of having new TP vehicles and uniform when one seldom see them on the roads nowaday? Even a patrol car see them and they will just ignore.
