STOMPer Stefan was touched to see these students, his schoolmates, shift this injured pigeon under a tree when it was about to rain.

"When I was walking home, I saw some of my schoolmates helping a near-dead bird (I dont really know what species).
"They were discussing what to do with the bird, when a middle-aged man saw what we were doing and said to us, we could try putting it under a tree since it was about to rain.
"He then said 'you are all good-hearted, may God bless you.'
"But we rejected the idea and tried to bring the injured bird back to our school (it was weird but I don't know why).
"As we were walking into school, the school guard said we should put it where it belongs.
"He said that there was no point helping it, as it had been poisoned and we can't do anything about it.
"Then we asked how he knew it had been poisoned. He said that there was government people (I don't know what to call them, NEA?) feeding the birds poisonous food as residents have been complaining about it. After that, there were many birds lying on the ground motionless.
"So we went to the place where we put it but decided that it was best to put it in a sheltered area.
"We felt sad that we couldn't do anything about it.
"I know these birds are sometimes pests, but if they go extinct, what will happen without them?"
