A woman, who was apparently pregnant, was stripped in public after she was caught stealing an iPhone from an apparel shop at a shopping mall in China.
According to the shop owner, the woman took his black iPhone while he was busy serving the customers and then attempted to run away.
Nearby store owners caught her and started cutting her hair and clothes until she was almost naked from the waist up, even though the woman kept begging that she was pregnant and had financial difficulties.
The local police were called in and took away the woman. Since the phone was not found on her body, police said there was insufficient evidence of a crime and she was released.
