Town Council: Using playground as laundry yard will not be condoned

A spokesperson for the Town Council said that it is investigating the issue that the playground near Hougang Block 972 was being used to dry laundry. This was highlighted in STOMPer Anthony's post.

The spokesperson said:

"We thank the STOMPer for the feedback on the matter.

"We will investigate the incident and seek to identify the person/s involved.

"We do not condone such practice and will not hesitate to remove these items should we encounter them during our inspections.

"In the meantime we will serve advisory notices to our residents on the proper use of the playground.

"Should there be any queries or the need for further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at 6456 1633."
