An old lady, who is reportedly autistic, left STOMPer lady charity baffled when she rejected her group of friends' charity rudely of paying $2 for one packet of tissue instead of the three that she was selling.
The STOMPer wrote:
"Together with two friends from overseas, we had a very bad experience today (May 02) while taking our lunch at Maxwell Market.
"We were approached by an autisic lady, aged in her 50s to 60s, who was sellign tissue while we were having lunch and with our own tissue on hand too.
"She pushed at our faces and then slammed on the table the 3 packets and ask us to buy. I told my friend to take just 1 packet and give her $2.
"While my friend was taking out the $2 note, she brushed us off very rudely in Mandarin and said, 'I am not selling one packet, minimum is 3 packets' and then briskly walked to the next table, doing the same thing to the next table who totally ignored her.
"Our intention was to give her $2 and not hurt her pride by accepting one packet of tissue, but in return, she was not happy at all.
"All she thought was that we were lookign to buy just one packet of tissue at a pro-rated price.
"How can we know when to take pity and on such people, and when not to?
"Imagine this -- A bundle of 30 packs of tissue from the supermarket cost
about $1.65 to $2.00 yet the old lady can earn $2 from just one packet but still isn't happy about it."

Seriously, it's nice that you guys wanted to be charitable, and it's the thought that counts.
Get off your high horse and stop feeling like she owes you something just because you decided to be charitable towards her.
She's autistic, you can't blame her or acting certain ways.
And you shouldn't let one "bad" experience stop you from helpIng out where you can.
I know is difficult for 'normal' us to understand, cos my son is autistic.
