You can now purchase live crabs from vending machines

Too tired to hit the grocery store after work? If you live in Nanjing, count yourself lucky. You can get a fresh crab from the vending machine!

Save the trip to the grocery mart -- just get your fresh crabs from the vending machine!

The crabs are priced from US$1.50 to US$8, depending on the size.

The vending machine is kept at a constant temperature of 5-10 degrees Celsius to make sure that the crabs are in a constant state of hibernation.

They are also packed in custom-shaped plastic packages.
