STOMPer My Little Pony was amused when he came across a job recruitment ad, asking prospective employees to double as lunch runners.

Said the STOMPer:

"I came across this advert online on a friend's Facebook profile.

"Buying lunch for your superiors may be an open secret within the industry but to put it out widely, and bluntly like this, reeks of arrogance and even disrespect towards interested applicants.

"It's pretty baffling that the job recruiters are even willing to put that 'requirement' out in the open."

What you say is true. I didn't make myself clear enough, what I meant is that I don't see what's the big hooray is to do a lunch run. So what the company made it a requirement? Personal assistant does it all the time. For all we know the position on offer is a personal assistant to the broker and his team?

It's common now adays, Sibgapore is a business world, no time for anything, working hours are long, comfirm need volunteers or rotation around co workers to get lunch up to the office

why not? its clear cut for the expectation so there won't b any arguements when the need arrives and the employee hired is not willing. those who agrees applies n those who don't like can keep off. simple and good ad.
