Locals charged $1 to pump tyre at bicycle store, but foreigners do it for free

STOMPer Stuart was told by a foreign member of the staff at a bicycle store at Elias Mall that he had to pay $1 to pump one tyre. But the STOMPer noticed that other foreigners were allowed to pump bicyle tires for free.

Said the STOMPer:

"I was at Elias Mall on April 28 at 2.30pm, when I noticed that this foreign worker at the bicycle shop only allowed foreign people to pump for free, but charged locals $1 per tyre!

"When I wanted to pump my bicycle's tyres, he told me that I had to pay $1 for each tyre.

"So when I asked if he could pump my bicycle's tyres if I gave $2, he told me 'the you do my work for me'.

"So I decided to walk away.

"A foreign lady and two foreign workers on rented bikes pumped for free while some locals was asked to pay.

"Such attitude should be stopped, it is giving the shop a bad reputation."

How can I be accusing when I was talking to one of Bite World customers outside their shop . Both of us witnessed everything ...
He, too , was so shocked with the remarks made by this china worker after he had allowed the china lady and her kid pumped for free and they left .
Finally , my 'Thank you ' to everyone supporting StuartLogy . Let continue to stomp these arrogant shops .

This is clearly a sabotage case, and we will uphold the decision to our best. Yes, one of the workers is a foreigner, has been here for 4 years, and is a responsible and hardworking person, yet, you are the first to make such remarks on him. If he has mistreated you, it is wise and right that you can speak to us.

In fact, we have been humble to provide a “ladder” for you, but, since you are not appreciative and insist of wrongful accusation, we have no choice but to let the authority handle the case. Several newspapers have approached us too, but we tell them friendly, that it is a wrongly case, which we do not wish to make this issue complicated, causing difficult or legal issue for Stomper Stuart. All we wish is a simple clarification and everyone carry on their busy life as usual.

We admit that we are just operating a small business, but certainly not an arrogant or snobbish one. Else, we will not view this case so seriously. If you have patron our shop, no matter who you are, you will be given the best service and pricing that we can. There are countless, in fact everyday, where our customer having problems with their bikes,we solve for them without charging them. We do business base on giving the best to you, and is our mission and our interest in bike. If you think we are making money by charging unreasonably, we do not need to sublet or make businesses in non-biking product. You may visit our shop and, there is nothing to hide. Please be reasonable and understanding.

Wow, I didn't know that there are so many other unhappy incidents. I would not even have known about all these if not for the two leading newspapers calling me as they wanted to publish in their papers. As such, there are nothing to clarify when so many others had problems with them. And his worker was rude , arrogant , making sarcastic remarks ...
One fine day , the consumer association (CASE) will take note of their actions like those in Sim Lim . It only shows what type of services they have been providing all these past 10 years . It is sadden to know that this kind of rogue and discrimination attitudes in coming to the heartland malls and will eventually bring down the reputation of the entire mall.
