The school holidays will soon be here and many of us will be jetting off for a vacation. Of course, you'll need to pass through airports between flights, but what we don't get to see is what goes on behind the scenes before and after take off. Here's a look at an airport through the eyes of pilots.

"I like the bustle that goes on at airports at all hours, and observing the travellers that pass through them.
"What I've always wondered about though, is the parts of the airport that pilots, cabin crew and other airport employees get to see. I'm sure many of you have wondered about that too.
"Now you'll get to look at an airport through the eyes of some Russian pilots."
Images 1 to 45 show an airport through the eyes of Russian pilots, images 46 to 71 are what pilots see just before they land, images 72 to 92 are of beautiful security officers deployed by Ukraine to welcome Euro 2012 guests, and the rest of the images show airports that will make you grip your armrest in fear.
