Before the iPhone, there were these 'obiang' phones
Mobile phones today have become synonymous with the iPhone and other smartphones. But some of us who grew up in the 80s might still remember these 'ancient' versions.
STOMPer Vassili, who sent in these photos, said:
"My first handphone was what we called the 'banana phone' back then. You slip down the receiver to talk.
"But even the banana phone can't beat the bulky Motorola DynaTAC that 'ah beng' businessmen used to carry around.
