South bound MRT train travels slowly due to track fault
STOMPer Diddy noticed that the train heading to Marina Bay was travelling slowly due to a track fault. The station doors at Newton and Orchard MRT station also did not open.
Said the STOMPer:
"The South bound train was travelling slower due to a track fault.
"An announcement was made about the issue.
"The train also kept stopping too.
"The station doors at Newton did not open.
"This was at 8.30pm (April24).
"The doors at Orchard MRT station also did not open. When it finally did open, lots of people immediately rushed in.
"I guess this was because the wait for the train was much longer due to the slow speed."

If trains travels sooo slowly, then whats the point? take bus better rite?
