SBS: Incident involving elderly woman falling on bus being investigated

SBS has said that the incident involving an elderly woman's fall on a bus is being investigated, and that CCTV footage is being reviewed to determine the cause.

Ms Tammy Tan, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, SBS Transit, said:

"We are appalled to learn of the incident and hope that Ms Jasmine's mother is feeling better.

"We are investigating the incident and this will include viewing the CCTV recording on board.

"We do not take this matter lightly and will not hesitate to take disciplinary action against the Bus Captain if he is found to have acted without regard for his passenger's safety and delivered poor customer service."
