Here is a warning to those seeking revenge on the Internet -- you can be held accountable for your actions on social media. An Australian man who posted nude photos of his ex-girlfriend on Facebook has been sentenced to six months' jail.
The 20-year-old man, Ravshan "Ronnie" Usmanov admitted that he posted the photos to hurt his ex-girlfriend after she ended their relationship.
Shortly after posting the photos on his Facebook page in October last year, Usmanov reportedly emailed his girlfriend with the message: "Some of your photos are now on Facebook." His girlfriend demanded him to take down the photos. When Usmanov refused, she called the police.
The six photos, according to court documents, showed his ex-girlfriend "nude in certain positions and clearly showing her breasts and genitalia".
