Bus badly damaged in four-vehicle accident along Nicoll Highway

A SBS Transit bus was involved in an accident with three other cars along Nicoll Highway this evening (Apr 20). According to STOMPer Cadence W, the bus driver had attempted to overtake vehicles in front before the accident.

The STOMPer wrote:

"A SBS Transit bus, service number 16, was involved in an accident together with three other cars along Nicoll Highway at around 6.15pm today (Apr 20).

"Commuters on the bus witnessed the bus driver try to overtake the vehicles in front.

"When the bus driver stepped hard on the brakes, some of the standing passengers and I were thrown forward.

"One of the passenger who got thrown forward was an old lady."
