Not many countries in the world have female fighter pilots. But in China, these women are amongst the 328 female pilots recently recruited and trained by the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
Since 1952, China has recruited females to be part of the country's Air Force. As fighter pilots, these women partake in numerous key missions in chartered flight, disaster relief, research-oriented trial flight and afforestation by a method known as 'airplane sowing'. And just like the Air Force in Singapore, these female pilots have flown in China's National Day Parade air show.

"Look at their impressive appearance and skills!
"We Singaporeans should learn to follow in their footsteps as well."
