A Taiwanese man, jealous that a male facebook user had flirted with his wife online, bashed the man to death with baseball clubs.
34-year-old Chou You-huan, who resides in south Taiwan's Pingtung county, found out about his wife's online relationship with 40-year-old Chuang Shih-chang. Chou then requested for a meeting with Chuang.
When Chuang turned up at the meeting place outside a restaurant on Saturday morning, Chou and two of his friends attacked him with baseball bats, beating him ferociously then leaving him there.
The men did not realize that Chuang had suffered life-threatening injuries. Chuang's body was discovered shortly afterwards, and the three men who were allegedly involved in the assault were arrested.
STOMPer QC says:
"Who knew that facebook could be so dangerous? A man got killed because of it.
"With the advent of social networking sites like facebook means many people are leading virtual lives on top of their real ones.
"So much so that one woman's possibly harmless online relationship with a guy actually got the guy killed, thanks to her jealous husband who probably saw the online relationship as a real affair."
second most silly thing is to allow all public to look at your facebook
third most silly thing is to tell the whole world what you are doing, eating.... really nothing better else to do
everytime SMS, FB, MSN via smart phone....i am sure many are flirting....
