NTUC FairPrice says that it will not tolerate any deliberate acts of tampering or abuse of products for sale in its stores. It also assures customers that every effort is made to ensure products are safe and of good quality.
This response comes in the light of a STOMPer's feedback on a plastic drink cup disposed in an ice cream freezer at a supermarket in Changi Airport's Terminal 1.
A spokesperson for NTUC Fairprice wrote:
"FairPrice has taken note of STOMPer ISeeYouxXx’s post.
"We want to assure our customers that we make every effort to offer products that are safe and of good quality and kindly ask that our customers spare a thought for other customers. We will not tolerate any deliberate acts of tampering or abuse of products for sale in our stores.
"We appeal to our customers who notice anything amiss within our store to approach our staff directly so that they may look into addressing the matter.
